Rocky Boy Singers
The isolation of the Rocky Boy Reservation, Montana's smallest reservation, home of the Chippewa Cree tribe, in the Bear's Paw Mountains of north central Montana, has been cited as a major factor in the preservation of the tribe's traditional music and cultural heritage. The Rocky Boy Singers have been sharing their music with the outside world since the early '90s. Their debut album, Montana Homeland, was released by SOAR (Sound of America Records) in 1995.
