Musicólogo y Menes

Musicólogo y Menes, also known as Los de la Nazza, is a Puerto Rican urban music duo consisting of Eliécer Lautaro García (Musicólogo) and Eduardo Delsin López (Menes). First meeting in a recording studio in 2005, they soon decided to collaborate, gaining momentum as producers in the 2000s by working with notable Puerto Rican reggaeton artist Daddy Yankee. Known for integrating electronic music elements into the traditional reggaeton sound, Musicólogo y Menes's first production credit came with Daddy Yankee's album, El Cartel: The Big Boss in 2007. They continued working together, producing renowned Daddy Yankee tracks such as "Pose" (2008), "La Despedida" (2010), and "Lovumba" (2011). Beginning in 2012, Musicólogo y Menes produced a series of mixtapes titled El Imperio Nazza. In 2013, they released Los de la Nazza the Collection, a compilation of songs produced by the duo, featuring the successful single "Romper la Disco" with Farruko, Zion, Lennox, and Dy. Their debut studio album, Orión, was released in 2015 under their own label, Nazza Records, reaching Number 8 on the US Latin Rhythm Albums chart. A single from the album, "Si el Mundo Se Acabara," featuring singer Justin Quiles, topped the US Tropical Songs chart, marking their first Number 1 hit on the Billboard charts. Over the following years, Musicólogo y Menes continued to release mixtapes and albums, including Imperio Nazza: Kendo Edition (2016) and Mas Flow Nazza (2023).
