Detlev Jöcker

A children's music singer and songwriter, Detlev Jöcker was born in Munster, Germany in 1951. His first foray into vocal performance came in the mid-'70s as part of the Peter Janssens Vocal Orchestra. By the mid-'80s, Jöcker had moved on, and began composing and publishing his own works, beginning with the 1992 album The Rainbow Fish with Marcus Pfister. Over the next ten or so years, Jöcker would release scores of full-lengths for children, including 2008's Singen & Bewegen in der Weihnachtszeit.
