One year after its release in 2022, the boss of New York house has returned to his archives to continue his Lost & Found series. Kerri Chandler marked 2022 with his album Spaces & Places, which he recorded in some of the world's biggest clubs. This time around, after spending some time in the workshop, he has emerged with four brand new tracks. They harken back to the heyday of 1990-2000, when, between Chandler, Masters at Work, Joe Claussell and François K, house music from the Big Apple was on top of the world. It is indeed this feeling of the great years, combined with the power of the post-2010 dance music mix, that we hear on this EP, between Fluff Rehab, which immediately makes you want to shuffle dance, the fat discoid bass of What If, Who Are You (Main Vox), which proudly displays the markers of deep house – contemplative and jazzy on the keyboards and sensual in the vocals -, and finally Dem Joy Ride, something that Talkin' Loud, the cult label of acid jazz, would have been proud of.
