Abbey Road è l’undicesimo e ultimo album in studio registrato dal celebre quartetto di Liverpool prima dello scioglimento ufficiale. Pubblicato nel 1969, con etichette EMI/Apple Records, comprende diciassette pezzi in totale, tra cui brani entrati a far parte della storia della musica come: “Come Together”, “Something” e “Here Comes the Sun”. Iconica anche la copertina, ovvero lo scatto del fotografo scozzese Iain Macmillan raffigurante i Fab Four, in fila indiana, sulle strisce pedonali dell’omonima Abbey Road di Londra. Mezzo secolo dopo il disco torna in cima alle classifiche inglesi grazie a diversi edizioni speciali, incluso l’esclusivo Box Super Deluxe contenente ben quaranta tracce e un booklet di cento pagine.
