The Grace

The Grace, also known as 天上智喜 The Grace, is a South Korean a cappella girl group comprising members Lina, Dana, Sunday, and Stephanie. They're known as Tenjochiki in Japanese releases and are sometimes referred to as CSJH The Grace. Assembled by SM Entertainment in 2005, The Grace was initially introduced as the female counterpart of TVXQ. The group began their musical journey with performances in Korean and Japanese, releasing three studio albums and several singles. They made their debut with "Too Good" and "Boomerang" in 2005. In 2006, they ventured into the Japanese music scene, releasing singles like "The Club" and "Sweet Flower." However, their major breakthrough came in 2007 with their Korean album One More Time, OK?, which contained the hit title track that won the Best Dance Music award at the 2007 Mnet Asian Music Awards. Despite the departure of Stephanie in 2008 due to health reasons, the group pressed on and released their Japanese album Dear... in 2009, reaching number 37 on the Oricon charts. The Grace went on an indefinite hiatus after 2010, but members Dana and Sunday briefly re-emerged in 2011 as a sub-unit, releasing singles like "One More Chance (나 좀 봐줘)." By 2021, Stephanie, Dana, and Sunday had left SM Entertainment, effectively leading to the group's unofficial disbandment. All members of the group have individual careers in music, theater, and television.
