Blady

Blady is a girl group from South Korea, initially brought together by SY6 Entertainment and later managed by Star Planet. In 2011, Blady marked their debut as a quartet consisting of Darae, Bunhong, Sunyeong, and Kangyoon. Their pre-debut single, "찌릿찌릿 (Spark Spark)," was released on May 16, 2011, with their official title track, "미친 (Crazy Day)," unveiled on July 27, 2011. By the end of their debut year, Blady earned the 2011 19th Republic of Korea Culture Entertainment Awards' Idol Music Rookie of the Year accolade, soon introducing a new member, Nahyun and on November 18, 2013, Blady released a single titled "B형 여자 (Blood Type B Girl)." Rumours of disbandment had been circulating, however despite this, the group reappeared with five members, with Kangyoon becoming the only remaining member from the original line-up, performing alongside new members Coco, Tina, Yeji, and Soojin. In late 2014, members Coco, Kangyoon, and Yeji departed from the group, followed by Soojin in March 2015 and soon after, Star Planet announced the group's return as a quintet, including Tina and four new members: Giru, Dayeong, Yeeun, and Gabin. On March 30, 2015, Blady unveiled the music video for "Come to Me," the title track from their mini-album Renovation which charted at number 25, featuring the new line-up. On July 27, 2015, Blady released a special summer single titled "Secret Number(비밀열쇠)," prior to their eventual disbandment in 2017.
