Le Miroir de Jésus pour orchestre, choeur et mezzo-soprano, composé à partir des Quinze petits poèmes sur les saints mystères du Rosaire d'Henri Ghéon, est l'une des oeuvres phares du compositeur André Caplet (1878-1925), créée avec succès au Vieux-Colombier en 1924. Divisée en 3 parties, le Miroir de joie, le Miroir de peine et le Miroir de Gloire, l'oeuvre puise aux racines d'une foi anthentique et puissante. Sur cet enregistrement effectué en juillet 2011 à l'église Saint Paul de Hanovre, la soprano Esther Choi, le Mädchenchor Hannover et les musiciens dirigés par Gudrun Schöfel rayonnent et révèlent toute la force dramatique et mystique de cette partition.
