Serrat & Sabina

Spanish singer/songwriter legends Joan Manuel Serrat and Joaquín Sabina collaborated as Serrat & Sabina in 2007 for a joint tour of the Spanish-speaking world that resulted in a popular in-concert CD/DVD, Dos Pájaros de un Tiro, documenting their Madrid performance. The duo was accompanied on-stage by Pancho Varona (acoustic guitar), Antonio García de Diego (guitar, keyboards, harmonica), Pedro Barceló (drums), José Antonio Romero (guitar), Ricard Miralles (piano), Víctor Merlo (bass), Patxi Urchegui (trumpet), José Miguel Pérez (saxophone), Roberto Bazán (trombone), Paqui Sánchez (background vocals), and Marcela Ferrari (background vocals). The 72-date tour commenced on June 29 in Zaragoza, Spain, and concluded on December 18 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, with stops in other countries including Mexico, Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Chile, and Uruguay. Released in a few different editions by Sony BMG in December 2007, Dos Pájaros de un Tiro documents a Madrid performance. In 2012, they returned with the studio album La Orquestra Del Titanic.
