Denez Prigent
Starting with traditional Breton song, Denez Prigent released Ar Gouriz Koar a cappella in 1993. His discovery of electronic music then led him to fuse electro and Celtic music. Me 'Zalc'h Ennon ur Fulenn Aour in 1997 inaugurates this new approach. In 2000, Irvi was enriched by a host of high-profile guest stars, including Louis Scalvis (clarinet, saxophone), Bertrand Cantat and Lisa Gerrard on vocals. Live Holl a-gevret ! was recorded in 2001 at the Interceltic Festival in Lorient (Morbihan) and released in 2002. In 2003, Sarac'h returned to acoustic sounds, without totally ruling out electro, and took a trip into world fusion. In 2011, the Best of compilation provides an initial overview of the work of this demanding musician.
