Peter Manos

Los Angeles-based singer/songwriter Peter Manos is known for his dusky, artfully fractured, R&B-influenced pop. He broke through with his 2017 song "In My Head," which was featured on his 2020 EP Do You Turn Red? With singles like "Tennessee" and "Talk to Me," he has continued develop his atmospherically romantic balladry. Born in Dallas, Texas, Manos grew up listening to his parents' eclectic music collection. He started on guitar at a young age and taught himself how to play piano. By the time he was in high school, he was writing his own songs. He continued to hone his skills while attending college in Nashville, drawing inspiration from artists like James Blake, Toro y Moi, Bon Iver, and others. It was there that he started posting songs online, including "In My Head," which went viral, amassing over 300 million streams. Manos eventually moved to Los Angeles where he released more tracks, including "Out of Love" and "You Don't Know Me." Many of his singles, including "In My Head," were included on his 2020 debut EP, Do You Turn Red? More hypnotic love songs followed, including 2021's "Tennessee" and 2023's "Talk to Me" and "Late Again."
