Luca Guglielmi
Luca Guglielmi is an Italian conductor, keyboardist, and composer. He taught himself to conduct, and assisted Antoni Ros-Marbà, Victor Pablo Pérez, Giovanni Antonini, Gottfried von der Goltz, and Jordi Savall. He graduated from the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory in Turin with degrees in composition, choral music, and choral conducting. He studied organ with Vittorio Bonotto, harpsichord with Patrizia Marisaldi, and piano accompaniment with Eros Cassardo. As an accompanist, he has worked with Cecilia Bartoli, Barbara Bonney, Sara Mingardo, Angelika Kirchschlager, Christoph Prégardien, and Paolo Pandolfo, among others. He has been the harpsichordist and organist of the Orchestra Sinfonica Nazionale di Torino della RAI, and performed as a keyboard soloist with many other orchestras and ensembles. He was a member of Hesperion XX, La Capella Reial de Catalunya, and Le Concert des Nations, and he has performed with Zefiro, Ensemble la Fenice, the Ricercar Consort, Armonico Tributo Austria, and the Accademia Strumentale Italiana. Guglielmi has recorded for Stradivarius, Hänssler Classic, Vivat, CPO, Accent, and Arcana.
