100%

100% was a South Korean boy band formed in 2012 by Shinhwa's Andy Lee under TOP Media. The group, based in Seoul, South Korea, consisted of seven members: Minwoo, Rockhyun, Jonghwan, Chanyong, Changbum, Hyukjin, and Sanghoon. Before forming 100%, Rockhyun was part of Andy Lee's duo Jumper, and Minwoo had a career as an actor. The group first gained attention on the variety show Teen Top Rising 100% in 2012, leading up to their debut with "We, 100%" as well as their track "Bad Boy." They continued to gain popularity with their first digital single "Guy Like Me," released in late 2012. This led to the release of the group's debut EP, Real 100%, in 2013. The same year, they announced their official fan club, Perfection, and formed a sub-unit, 100% V, featuring members Rockhyun, Jonghwan, Hyukjin, and Chanyong. In 2014, Minwoo enlisted in the military and Sanghoon took a personal hiatus. The group carried on and released their second EP, 2014's Bang the Bush, which peaked at number 4 on the Circle Albums Chart. In 2016, following Changbum's departure, they released the EP Time Leap, also cracking the Top 10 in South Korea. 100% made their Japanese debut in 2017 with the single "How to Cry" and continued to release music, including the EP Sketchbook later that year. Tragically, Minwoo passed away in 2018 due to cardiac arrest. The group released the EPs Sunshine and RE:tro in 2018 and 2019, respectively. The latter would be the group's final release, as they all enlisted in the military in 2019, leading to the group's dissolution.
