Thrive Worship

California Christian outfit Thrive Worship put a pop spin on the typical praise & worship formula, adding bright synths and atmospheric production to their faith-based anthems. Emerging in the mid-2010s, they released their official studio debut, A Thousand More, in 2019, topping the Billboard Christian and Gospel chart. Following 2021's live Let's Have Church EP, they again hit the Christian Top Ten with 2022's Pour Your Spirit Out. Formed in January 2014 as the worship team of Sacramento's Bayside Church, the band -- including founding members Corbin Phillips, Peter Burton, and Charmaine Wells -- incorporate electronic, R&B, and hip-hop touches into their uplifting, Christ-focused compositions. Years after issuing their first single, "Everything," they signed with Integrity Music and released their debut album, 2019's A Thousand More. Featuring the title track "I Still Believe (Faithful Always)" and "The Reason," the set debuted atop the Billboard Christian and Gospel chart, peaking in the Top 25 on the main album chart. Two years later they returned with the concert EP Let's Have Church. Another live album, Pour Your Spirit Out, arrived in 2022 and captured the group in concert at their home of Bayside Church in Sacramento. It hit number two on the Top Christian Albums chart.
