Tablo

Daniel Armand Lee, who goes by the name Tablo, is a Canadian-Korean hip-hop and K-pop performer and producer, known best as the leader of the South Korean rap act Epik High. Born on July 22, 1980, in Seoul, he grew up in Vancouver, Canada, where he studied creative writing and music - starting with the piano and then switching to violin. He began writing songs, including the lyrics for "Rainy Christmas" recorded by Kim Gun-mo. He formed Epik High with rappers DJ Tukutz and Mithra Jin in 2003 and they released several hit albums. He featured on Rain's 2006 track "I'm Coming" and on Navi's "I Love You," both of which topped the South Korea Singles Chart. He released two solo EPs in 2011: Fever's End: Part 1 went to number 4 on Billboard's World Albums chart and Fever's End: Part 2 reached number 2. The track "Tomorrow" featuring Taeyang peaked at number 2 on the South Korea Singles Chart. He has appeared on radio and television shows and continued to perform with Epik High throughout the 2010s and 2020s, putting out commercially successful releases such as Shoebox (2014), We've Done Something Wonderful (2017), and Epik High Is Here, released in two parts between 2021 and 2022. "1000 YEARS," a collaborative track with Taiwanese rapper J.Sheon, arrived in 2024 and entered the Mandarin singles chart Top 50 at number 38.
