Spraynard
Pennsylvanian punk trio Spraynard were formed in 2008 by singer/guitarist Pat Graham, bassist Mark Dickinson, and drummer Pat Ware. Based out of the Philadelphia suburb of West Chester, the band made a point of celebrating rather than deriding suburban life, working hard to build an active D.I.Y. scene in their hometown. With a freewheeling pop-punk sound and spirited attitude, they released their debut full-length, Cut and Paste, in 2010, followed a year later by Funtitled, which came out on California-based indie Asian Man Records. With their newfound success and wider exposure came additional pressures, and shortly after the release of their 2013 7" Exton Square, Spraynard went on hiatus. At the request of their label, they agreed to release a compilation of earlier singles and rarities called The Mark Tom and Patrick Show in 2014. The handful of gigs they played to promote the release quickly sold out, and before long they'd agreed to reunite full-time, replacing Dickinson with new bassist Jake Guralnik. Their increasing popularity led to a European tour and a new label deal with East Coast indie Jade Tree Records, which issued their third album, Mable, in the summer of 2015.
