Originating as a quartet in Osaka in 2009, they welcomed guitarist Kuina in 2010 and relocated to Tokyo, affiliating with BP Records. In April 2011, they released their first major single, "eve:r," soaring to number 3 on the Oricon indies chart. Their subsequent release, "α," clinched the top spot and secured a position in the top 30 of the mainstream charts. November saw the emergence of their debut album, Revolution to NEW AGE, debuting at number 32, dropping their sophomore album, Tears, a few months later, featuring the hit single "NOAH" (2012). Successive singles like "EGOIST" (2013) and "LILIA" (2014) reached number 11 and 7 on the Oricon singles chart and were included in their third album, CORE. After Kazuki departed from the band in 2014, Royz continued their ascent up the charts with hits like "THE BEGINNING" (2015), which reached their highest mainstream chart position at number 6, featured in the album S.I.V.A (2016). "ANTITHESIS" (2016) and "RAVEN" (2017) followed, included in the album WORLD IS MINE (2018) which climbed to number 16. Their success continued with singles like "IGNITE" (2019), "DAYDREAM" (2020), and "LEON" (2021). After a four-year hiatus, they unveiled their sixth album Lync, debuting at number 24, continuing to release singles like "RAIZIN" (2023) and "GIANT KILLER" (2024), the latter peaking at number 22 on the charts.
