Kayzo

Kayzo is the stage name of American DJ and producer Hayden Capuozzo (October 8, 1991), who is best known for his vibrant melange of hardstyle, dubstep, and trap. Born in Houston, Texas, he grew up playing hockey and relocated to Los Angeles in 2012 after being accepted at the electronic music production school Icon Collective. That same year, he performed his first DJ gig ever at the Escape from Wonderland festival after winning Insomniac’s Discovery Project challenge. In 2013, Kayzo released the single “Malfunktion 2.0” and collaborated with Slander and Jordan Alexander on the tracks “Getting Down” and “Recoil,” respectively. His debut EP Fired Up came out in 2014 via Firepower Records, followed by the extended play Black & White (2016) and the Slander collaborative EP Dilapidation Celebration (2017). In the years that followed, Kayzo released two studio full-lengths—2018’s Overload and 2019’s Unleashed, which contained the single “Alone” featuring American post-hardcore band Our Last Night. A remix of the song by Sullivan King saw the light in 2020.
