Headcat

The Head Cat is an American supergroup featuring Motörhead's Lemmy Kilmister, the Stray Cats' Slim Jim Phantom, and Levi and the Rockats' Danny B. Harvey. The band formed in 1999, after its members first crossed paths while all contributing to the album A Special Tribute to Elvis. Inspired by Elvis Presley, Buddy Holly, and Eddie Cochran, The Head Cat worked up a repertoire of rockabilly cover songs and released a debut album, Lemmy, Slim Jim & Danny B, in late 1999. The Head Cat began performing live shows, too, with Lemmy playing acoustic guitar rather than his signature bass. This unique sound was captured on the band's first concert album, Rockin' The Cat Club: Live from the Sunset Strip, in 2006. That same year, the group reissued its debut under a new title, Fool's Paradise. A second studio album, Walk the Walk...Talk the Talk, followed in 2011, mixing the band's usual cover material with the original songs "American Beat" and "The Eagle Flies on Friday." Lemmy passed away in 2015; his role as the band's bassist and lead vocalist was filled in 2017 by former Morbid Angel member David Vincent. Six years later, the band released Live in Berlin, a concert album that was recorded in October 2011.
