Dhvani Bhanushali

Dhvani Bhanushali (born on March 22, 1998) is an Indian singer mostly known for her musical contributions to several Bollywood comedies throughout the late 2010s. Born in Mumbai to a Gujarati family, she made her official debut in 2018 with the single “Ishtehaar,” a duo with singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan that was featured in the Hindi film Welcome to New York. That same year, she followed up with “Dilbar,” the first Hindi language single to enter Billboard’s Top Ten. Bhanushali had her big breakthrough moment in 2019, becoming the youngest singer to reach 1 billion views on YouTube with her singles “Vaaste” and “Leja Re,” a remake of Shreya Khan’s classic “Leja Leja Re.” She also contributed to the soundtrack of De De Pyaar De with the song “Mukhda Vekh Ke” and sang on the Tanishk Bagchi-penned “Psycho Saiyaan” for the blockbuster film Saaho. In the following years, she recorded the singles “Dariyaganj” and “Nachi Nachi,” which were part of the soundtrack of 2020’s Jai Mummy Di and Street Dancer 3D, respectively.
