Confide
South Gate, California-based metalcore outfit Confide specialize in searing post-hardcore with a CCM/electro/screamo-pop twist. Originally formed as a deathcore band in 2004, Confide released a pair of EPs, Innocence Surround (2005) and Introduction (2006), before issuing their debut long-player, Shout the Truth, on Warner Bros. imprint Science Records in 2008 (it was re-recorded and reissued the following year on North Carolina hardcore punk label Tragic Hero). The well-received, Tragic Hero-issued Recover arrived in 2010, but a hectic touring schedule drove the group to disband shortly after its release. The group re-formed in 2012 and began a Kickstarter fund to raise money for its third studio album. The resulting All Is Calm was issued independently in 2013.
