Ahadadream
Ahadadream is the stage name of Pakistani-born British producer Ahad Elley. He moved to the UK at 12 and later studied chemistry while cutting his teeth as a DJ in the London club scene. His music style is an eclectic blend of electronic dance music and South Asian elements like bhangra, reflecting his heritage. Ahadadream has been featured in the sets of world-renowned DJs such as Peggy Gou, Four Tet, and Skrillex, and his tracks have received endorsement from pop icons like Rosalía. Apart from his solo output, he initiated Dialled In, a movement celebrating South Asian creativity that hosted the first-ever Boiler Room Pakistan while organizing festivals all over the world. In 2017, he co-founded More Time Records, a label known for its unique blend of rugged UK sounds and global influences. Movements, his debut EP, arrived in 2017. This was followed by other critically acclaimed releases such as the extended plays Shade (2018), 3:33 (2020), and Homecoming (2023), which marked his first visit to Pakistan in a decade and mixed global sounds with urban British genres like grime and amapiano. In 2023, he made his Boiler Room debut including contributions by Skrillex and ELIZA. The following year, his single "TAKA," featuring Priya Ragu, Skrillex, and contra peaked at number 38 on the Top 50 Dance & Electronic Songs chart in the United States.
