Celui qui écrit autant pour Taylor Swift qu'Harry Styles des One Direction et dont les morceaux finissent aux génériques des séries les plus regardées du globe – Grey's Anatomy en tête – a mis dans ce septième opus les ingrédients nécessaires à tout album pop grand public : trémolos dans la gorge, guitares mélo, paroles existentialistes expiatoires (Life and Death, Life on Earth, Don't Give In).
