Cette belle série des opéras italiens chez Naxos se poursuit avec un ouvrage relativement méconnu de Gioacchino Rossini, La Gazzetta, inspirée d'une pièce de Goldoni et créée en septembre 1816, sept mois après la première du Barbier de Séville et quatre mois avant celle de La Cenerentola. Une équipe de chanteurs, qui se distingue par sa cohérence et son esprit d'équipe.
