Sidecars
Rabid Rolling Stones fans, Madrid-based Sidecars concoct a brand of melodic yet bawdy pop/rock clearly indebted to Los Rodríguez and Tequila. The band released its eponymous debut in 2008, followed by Cremalleras in 2010. Both albums were produced by Leiva (Pereza), who also happens to be the elder brother of Sidecars' lead singer, Juancho. For their third record, Fuego Cruzado (2014), the band worked with legendary British producer Nigel Walker. In 2015 the group revisited his career in an intimate live setting with guests such as Dani Martín, Iván Ferreiro, M Clan, and Leiva. The concert would eventually be released the following year in CD/DVD format under the title Contra las Cuerdas. Cuestión de Gravedad appeared in 2017.
