Mary Lou Turner
b. 13 June 1947, Hazard, Kentucky, USA. Popular in the mid- and late 70s, Turner recorded duets with Bill Anderson, collaborating with him on songs including ‘Sometimes’, ‘That’s What Made Me Love You’, ‘Where Are You Going, Billy Boy’, ‘Can We Still Be Friends’, ‘Charlie, Mary And Us’, ‘Children’, ‘Country Lay Off My Mind’, ‘Circle In A Triangle’ and ‘Come Walk With Me’. Although little is known of her life after the 70s, Turner appears to have retained her links with country music through into the early 00s.
