Makko

Makko, real name Christoph Makowski, is a German rapper. Born in Berlin, he moved to the province of Fürstenwalde/Spree as a child. He started skating at an early age and gained his first insights into music in 2014. His passion for music grew and grew, so that after school he abandoned his training as an occupational therapist in favor of a rap career. At first, Makko is known more for his freestyles than his songs. His friends encourage Makko to release his first single "Leb Es Oder Lass Es" in November 2019. The album of the same name followed in March 2020. His sound is somewhere between cloud rap and hip-hop. His songs combine German rap and skateboarding culture. The mixtape Aus Dem Block, Für Den Block is released in September 2020. In October 2021, he releases the single "Morgen/Heute". The accompanying album Leb Es Oder Lass Es 2 sees the light of day in December 2021. In addition to his solo career, he is part of the rap collective Bolo Boys. Other members include artists such as Toobrokeforfiji, Sin Davis, Can with Me$$r, Beslik Meister and Okfella. In 2022, the EP and album entitled Pass dich nie an, Pass dich auf. Together with producers Miksu & Macloud, Makko achieved a number 1 hit in Germany and Austria in the same year with the single "Nachts wach". another album followed in 2023 with Lieb mich oder lass es, Pt. 1. Again with the participation of Miksu & Macloud and T-Low, he reaches number 6 in Germany with the single " Ich will". In February 2024, Makko releases another album with Lieb mich oder lass es, Pt.1+2. The longplayer climbs to number 3 in Germany.
