Dru Down
Oakland rapper Dru Down debuted in 1994 with Explicit Game, scoring a hit with the single "Mack of the Year"; the record also served as a launching pad for his Bay Area cronies the Luniz. Down returned in 1996 with Can You Feel Me; that same year, he also made his film debut in Original Gangstas. 2001's Pimpin' Phernelia, 2002's Gangsta Pimpin', and 2006's Cash Me Out (with Lee Majors) followed.
