Adam Ant
Personnage entre génie et folie comme seul le rock anglais sait en créer, Adam Ant marque de son empreinte la new wave avec Adam & the Ants et Kings of the Wild Frontier en 1980. A contre courant de l'image punk, il devient le principal promoteur d'une mode « pirate » dérivée du mouvement néo-romantique. Sa carrière solo entamée brillamment avec Friend or Foe en 1982 va ensuite patiner au gré des humeurs d'un artiste instable et mégalomane qui finira par être interné en 2002. Après un retour scénique triomphal en 2011 en Grande-Bretagne, Adam Ant effectue la prouesse de revenir au sommet en 2013 avec Adam Ant is the Blueblack Hussar in Marrying the Gunner's Daughter où il se pose en héritier de T.Rex.
