Avec ce 49ème album, le vétéran du rock français Johnny Hallyday n'en finit plus d'étonner. Alors qu'il semble régulièrement prêt à jeter l'éponge, Jean-Philippe Smet sait toujours plonger en lui-même pour trouver l'énergie nécessaire à un nouvel épisode de sa longue carrière. Paru en 2014 et bénéficiant d'une production classieuse signée Don Was, Rester vivant rappelle que l'on aurait tort d'oublier de quoi est encore capable un artiste porté par la passion, quel que soit son âge, et en particulier Johnny Hallyday, dont le timbre ne semble guère altéré par le nombre de ses printemps. En somme, Rester vivant constitue un bon cru dans la discographie pléthorique de l'un des belges préférés des français, et ses nombreux fans ne peuvent que s'en réjouir.
