La compilation L'Album de sa vie, parue en 2024, propose de revenir sur la carrière discographique de l'auteur-compositeur-interprète français Alain Bashung disparu en 2009, proposant dans sa version physique un double CD consacré à trente-huit chansons originales bénéficiant le plus souvent des plumes de paroliers comme Boris Bergman ou Jean Fauque, le tout amendé d'un troisième CD regroupant pour sa part vingt reprises, déjà publiées en 2019 sous le titre Covers. L'occasion de retrouver des incontournables comme "Gaby oh Gaby", "Bijou bijou", "Vertige de l'amour", "Ma petite entreprise", "Osez Joséphine" ou encore "La Nuit je mens" mais aussi les relectures du "Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain" popularisé par Willie Nelson, du "Nights in White Satin" des Moody Blues, "Le Sud" de Nino Ferrer ou encore "Les Mots bleus" de Christophe. Propulsé par l'inédit "On n'a pas l'air..." de 1981, L'Album de sa vie entre en vingt-troisième position des charts hexagonaux.
