Dans cet album, Marie-Pierre Arthur, issue de la scène rock - bassiste aux côtés d'Ariane Moffatt et Stefie Caron - dévoile un son tout à fait singulier, sorte de rock aérien, à la fois brut et affirmé. Dotée d'une énergie débordante, sa sensibilité s'apparente à celle d'une Feist en plus rock et plus mordante, portée sur le disque par une production à la Arcade Fire qui s'essaierait à la langue française. Tout à fait réjouissant, cet univers aux envolées mélodiques, aux textes simples mais jamais naïfs !
