Das Trio Gert Steinbäcker, Günter Timischl und Schiffkowitz - kurz S.T.S. - ist vor allem mit seinem Nummer-Eins-Hit "Fürstenfeld" von 1984 immer noch präsent, aber die österreichische Band hat im Laufe ihrer Karriere auch mit zahlreichen anderen Songs Erfolge gefeiert und sich dabei auch mit klugem Songwriting einen sehr guten Ruf erspielt. Die Compilation Die größten Hits aus über 30 Jahren Bandgeschichte gibt als Doppel-Album einen Überblick über die Karriere der 1978 gegründeten Band: Enthalten sind zahlreiche Lieder aller Alben zwischen 1981 und 2007 (mit Ausnahme der 1993 erschienenen Platte Rosegger), darunter Songs wie "Kalt und kälter", "I bin aus Österreich", "Großvater", "Die Kinder san dran", "Da kummt die Sun" oder "Auf a Wort". Dazu kommen drei unveröffentlichte Lieder.

Das Trio Gert Steinbäcker, Günter Timischl und Schiffkowitz - kurz S.T.S. - ist vor allem mit seinem Nummer-Eins-Hit "Fürstenfeld" von 1984 immer noch präsent, aber die österreichische Band hat im Laufe ihrer Karriere auch mit zahlreichen anderen Songs Erfolge gefeiert und sich dabei auch mit klugem Songwriting einen sehr guten Ruf erspielt. Die Compilation Die größten Hits aus über 30 Jahren Bandgeschichte gibt als Doppel-Album einen Überblick über die Karriere der 1978 gegründeten Band: Enthalten sind zahlreiche Lieder aller Alben zwischen 1981 und 2007 (mit Ausnahme der 1993 erschienenen Platte Rosegger), darunter Songs wie "Kalt und kälter", "I bin aus Österreich", "Großvater", "Die Kinder san dran", "Da kummt die Sun" oder "Auf a Wort". Dazu kommen drei unveröffentlichte Lieder.
