Beim Hören dieser Einspielung von Mieczyslaw Weinbergs sechster Sinfonie würde man nie auf ein Orchester aus der zweiten Reihe tippen – so präzise leitet Laurent Wagner die Musiker aus Altenburg und Gera an, und so fein gestalten diese die musikalische Holocaust-Verarbeitung bis hin zum fast utopisch endenden Chorfinale. Die Frauen des Konzertchors Rutheneum singen genau und klangschön. In den stimmig ergänzenden Klavierminiaturen op. 34 überzeugt Elisaveta Bluminas Darbietung durch angemessene Schlichtheit.
