Mit dem im Juli 2017 veröffentlichten Epic legen die Rapper Fler und Jalil ihr erstes gemeinsames Album vor - obwohl sie schon Jahre zuvor aufeinandergetroffen sind: Jalil war 2008, damals noch unter dem Namen "Reason", Gast auf dem Track "Mehr Kohle" auf Südberlin Maskulin, dem Kollabo-Album zwischen Fler (alias Frank White) und Godsilla (Silla). Mit Epic legen die beiden nun 16 Tracks vor, die sich mit ihrem minimalistischen Sounddesign an aktuellen US-Rappern orientieren und inhaltlich genau das bieten, was Fans der beiden hören wollen: Prahlereien, Battle-Rap, Luxus und Konflikte mit dem Gesetz. Auf zwei Tracks kommt Rap-Kollege Mortel als Gast hinzu, auf dem Song "Gang für immer" ist Remoe als Sänger dabei. Das Album kam in Deutschland und der Schweiz an die Spitze der Charts.
