M. M. Manasi

M. M. Manasi (born on January 8, 1993 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India) is an Indian playback singer trained in Hindustani Vocal. Growing up in Mumbai, Manasi learned music from the age of two, later performing bhajans at various religious ceremonies with her parents' encouragement. Making her Bollywood debut performing “Daddy Mummy” from the film Bhaag Johnny, the song received 20 million views online launching the singer into stardom. Making a name for herself as a dubbing artist, featuring in hit Tamil films Anjaan (2014), Baahubali (2015), Thozha (2016), Darling (2015) and Devi (2016), Manasi has also recorded over 170 songs in Kannada, Malayam, Hindi and English, releasing Telugu tracks "Notanki Notanki " (2014), "Gunde Aagi Pothasnde" (2015) and "Private Party" (2016) with tracks "Rangamma Mangamma" (2018) and “Mahanubhavudu” (2018) earning her the Best Female Playback Singer awards for the 2018 SIIMA and Filmfare Awards, respectively. Manasi is best known for her Tamil singles "Adhiroobaney" (2018), "Yelamala Kathu" (2019) and "Friendship Anthem", releasing three singles in 2022: "Paarvai Vanna Noolai Pola", "Ora Siricha" and the smash hit "Ranjithame" from the film Varisu.
