Günther Neefs
Born in Mechelen, Belgium in 1965, Flemish crooner Gunther Neefs scored a string of hits in the early '90s with the likes of "Hier in Dit Land," "Daarom Zeg Ik Nee," and "Ik Blijf Bij Jou." In 2000, he recorded "Laat Ons Een Bloem," a posthumous duet with his father, the late cabaret singer Louis Neefs, whose voice of Thomas O'Malley he also replaced in the 2008 re-release of the animated Disney production, The Aristocats. He twice celebrated his lengthy career in the 2000s with the release of compilations 15 and 21.
