Calle 24

Calle 24 is an emerging Mexican Regional music act from Chihuahua. Originally a quartet, they focused on combining tradition with experiments in urban genres. (The band later became the solo project of singer and songwriter Diego Millan.) Their first single, "Propio Mundo," appeared in March 2021; they collaborated with Fuerza Regida on the "Que Esta Posando" single in July, and Mi Nueva Familia, their first long-player, appeared in November. Mi Nueva Familia made Mexico's Top 50 and was followed by ten singles in 2022. Calle 24 issued a second album, Amor de le Calle, in March 2023. It topped international Latin streaming charts and preceded a handful of non-album singles. As Millan began losing his bandmates -- all amicably -- he recognized the possibilities of performing solo.
