Pol Granch

Madrid-born musician and actor Pol Granch emerged internationally in both disciplines during the early 2020s, landing a starring role on the Netflix series Élite and issuing the single "Tiroteo (Remix)" with Rauw Alejandro. Born Pablo Grandjean Sanz to a French father and Spanish mother, Pol Granch spent his early years in his home city of Madrid, learning to play the guitar at age 13. A series of online covers soon led to him being discovered by Factor X Espana and he quickly became one of the show's breakout acts, debuting in 2018 under the tutelage of Italian vocalist Laura Pausini. His first move into studio work resulted in his 2019 single "Late," followed quickly by his debut EP, Pol Granch, a wide-ranging set of pop-leaning ballads that focused on themes of romance. In 2020 he launched his debut LP, Tengo Que Calmarme, a smoother, self-assured album which peaked at number 12 on the Spanish charts. His acting debut was soon to follow; he was hired to play Philippe Florian in the popular Netflix school drama Élite later that year. 2021 proved to be the musician's breakout year, when his single "Tiroteo" debuted at number five on the Spanish charts. A remix featuring Rauw Alejandro propelled the track to new heights, earning five-times-platinum certification in Spain and spots at number one and number four on the Panamanian and Spanish charts, respectively. He moved into 2022 with seven more singles, all of which landed on his second studio album, Amor Escupido, which was released in October that year.
