Comprised of new songs and singles that were hits in South America, Lucybell's debut album, Viajar, is a surprisingly successful record, boasting a vast array of alternative pop stylings filled with energy, hard hooks and style. Lucybell doesn't do anything particularly original, but they assimilate their influences very well, bringing together Nirvana, Green Day and Nine Inch Nails into a successful amalgam of alternative-pop that's accessible, melodic and radio-ready, and it may even appeal to modern rock fans who don't speak Spanish.
