On "When I Goose Step," the A-side of this 7," the Shins cross their Brian Wilson and Love-inspired, psychedelic wonder pop with a dreamy Belle and Sebastian-esque pastoral sound. The B-side, "The Gloating Sun," is a mellow summer romp that blithely conjures up images of fields and daises, twirling in the sunshine, and falling asleep beside the lake. The only complaint that can be levied at this world of sound is that it is all too brief.

On "When I Goose Step," the A-side of this 7," the Shins cross their Brian Wilson and Love-inspired, psychedelic wonder pop with a dreamy Belle and Sebastian-esque pastoral sound.
