After featuring on Sing While You Work in 2013 -- the popular BBC television show created and hosted by choirmaster and broadcaster Gareth Malone -- and following their narrow defeat to a rival choir from Severn Trent Water, the Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Choir continued to perform together, and went from strength to strength following the show's conclusion. They took the U.K.'s Christmas number one spot in 2015, ahead of the likes of Adele and Justin Bieber, with their charity single "A Bridge Over You," which was a mash-up of "Bridge Over Troubled Water" and Coldplay's "Fix You." Now the choir has recorded their first full-length album, which includes their second single of the same name, a cover of Labi Siffre's "(Something Inside) So Strong." All sales of the album will once again go to charity.
