Mademoiselle Hilton est déjà star depuis sa naissance, mais elle exige parfois que ce statut soit justifié par une quelconque activité. Aussi, lorsque l'héritière émet le souhait de se mettre à la chanson, son vœu est exaucé et pris en charge par une horde de producteurs.
Le résultat, sorti en août 2006, est un mélange somme toute assez subtilement dosé de R&B moderne, de pop-rock, de dance et de hip-hop, mais il est difficile de parler d'album tant ce projet sonne comme une rencontre arrangée et prépayée entre producteurs zélés et requins de studio. La voix de Paris Hilton est ainsi rendue omnipotente et polyvalente par la grâce de logiciels « auto-tune » et autres technologies modernes.
Notons que l'album, sans bénéficier d'une durée de vie mirobolante, est tout de même rentré dans le top 10 pop américain, canadien, suédois et japonais (la France, elle, lui a réservé la 67ème place). Paris ne présente ni ne mérite intérêt, à part bien sur celui de capturer sur un écran, toute une époque et ses travers, en plan américain bien entendu.
