Sorti d’abord chez Philips sous forme de vinyle simple, puis double, ce Live Tour 1985 est désormais disponible dans une édition impeccablement remixée et, surtout, agrémentée d’un nombre impressionnant d’inédits puisque la playlist complète de la tournée répond à l’appel (neuf titres supplémentaires par rapport à la version originale). Sa collaboration avec Serge Gainsbourg est plutôt bien représentée puisque pas moins de six titres du tandem figurent dans la présente édition. On retiendra notamment le délicieusement sombre Lavabo et surtout le surprenant J’croise aux Hébrides, dans lequel il évoque frontalement et avec une voix absolument déchirante son mal-être de chanteur à succès. A ce propos, les grands classiques de Boris Bergman ne sont naturellement pas oubliés, en particulier Gaby dans une version particulièrement énergique, ainsi qu’un Junge Männer de plus de neuf minutes – l’un des joyaux de l’album au vu de cette infatigable grosse caisse binaire et ces guitares psychédéliques effrénées. A signaler également une reprise de Hey Joe de Billy Roberts, ainsi que l’inévitable SOS Amor, qui est le grand tube de Bashung en cette année 1985.
