Humanoid City Live est le deuxième album live de Tokio Hotel. Disponible également en DVD, ce live a été enregistré à Milan le 12 avril 2010, lors de la tournée Welcome TO Humanoid City Tour. Agrémenté de plusieurs bonus, d’un petit docu et de galeries photos pour la version DVD, Humanoid City Live propose 19 titres du groupe allemand, issu de leurs différents albums.
Un live de Tokio Hotel, c’est comme tout rassemblement d’adolescents : bourré d’émotions, de joie et d’hystérie, parfois… Ici, le groupe emmené par Bill Kaulitz livre un show comme il a l’habitude d’en proposer, à savoir une prestation à l’efficacité redoutable, aux enchainements entre les morceaux qui rappellent parfois les grandes heures de certains groupes des années 80, avec cette manière d’haranguer la foule, de solliciter le public...
Inutile de préciser que les fans des albums studios de Tokio Hotel tomberont évidemment sous le charme de ce live de près de deux heures. Inutile également de rappeler à tous ceux qui voient en Tokio Hotel un groupe formaté pour pré ados que ce live est totalement dispensable. On appréciera néanmoins la qualité de l’enregistrement, sa longueur et l’engouement –sincère- du public et du groupe qui se trouve sur scène.
