Après un détour anglophone avec The English Ones, la chanteuse de variétés Helene Fischer revient à l'allemand pour son cinquième album, Für Einen Tag en 2011. Produit et écrit par Jean Frankfurter, avec des chansons signées Kristina Bach, Tobias Reitz ou Joachim Horn-Bernges, l'album offre des chansons au tempo enlevé mais aussi de puissantes ballades et certains morceaux prennent leur origine dans le jazz big-band ("Nur Wer Den Wahnsinn Liebt"), le flamenco ("Copilot"), ou même la country ("Ich Will Spüren, Dass Ich Lebe"). L'album, le premier pour Fischer à être numéro un en Allemagne, inclut également un duo avec Michael Bolton en bonus ("Make You Feel My Love"). A noter l'existence d'un coffret 2 CD "fan edition" augmenté d'un concert de la tournée 2011, ainsi qu'une "super fan edition" avec en supplément le single "Phänomen" et un calendrier 2012.
