Publié en 1973 et succédant à un tonitruant premier album éponyme de 1972, For your Pleasure, second effort studio de la formation art rock britannique Roxy Music, voit le groupe capitaliser sur la tension créative entre Brian Eno (claviers, électronique) et Bryan Ferry (chant) pour atteindre de nouvelles cimes comme sur les dix minutes de "The Bogus Man" ou la simultanément sinistre, entêtante et explosive "In Every Dream Home a Heartache". Par ailleurs doté d'une paire de classiques instantanés à l'impact plus immédiat sous la forme de "Do the Strand" et "Editions of You", For Your Pleasure est largement considéré comme le magnum opus du groupe et constitue l'un des disques majeurs de sa génération.
