Topping SoundScan's Praise & Worship chart the week of its release, NewSong's Faithful is the group's first live album in ten years. Recordings come from the First Baptist Church in Woodstock, Georgia, and material is sourced from the group's "acoustic tour." That doesn't mean "toned down," as the acoustic guitars, the strings, and other folksy instrumentation ring out loud and proud, as if Mumford & Sons were in the house and the roof was raising. Check the title track for proof, or the album's two great cover versions, Hillsong's "This I Believe (The Creed)" plus "Make a Way" from the Desperation Band.
