Réalisé au cours des tournées-marathons de promotion de Marcher Dans le Sable, cet album live révèle un Gérald De Palmas au meilleur de sa forme, bête de scène bouffant les planches avec un bel appétit et, surtout, empreint dans ses interprétations d’une rage faisant plaisir à entendre. Des titres comme « Elle s’ennuie » et « Regarde-moi bien en face » sont comme dopés à la testostérone, vitaminés par les prestations de musiciens particulièrement en forme. Si la plupart des titres sont issus de « Marcher dans le sable », l’album comprend également une version de « Sur la route », standard de De Palmas qui ne pouvait manquer à la fête accompagnant la consécration de son auteur.
