Sorti en 1973, Burnin’ est le quatrième et dernier album des Wailers à réunir Peter Tosh et Bunny Wailers. Ces deux là allaient bientôt quitter l’aventure pour se lancer en solo. Marqué par un son épuré et sec, l’atmosphère qui se dégage de Burnin’ appelle clairement à la révolte. L’album s’ouvre d’ailleurs avec le militant Get Up, Stand Up.
